Our Toronto office is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support our infrastructure and buildings projects.

The hired candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

•Infrastructure design which includes transportation, bridge, and tunnel structures.

•Building structures design.

•Prepare structural drawings.

•Structural calculations, analyses and modeling using structural software.

•Report writing.

•Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines.

•Project and team coordination duties.

•Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.

Requirements:

•Bachelors/Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a sound knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals

•6 to 10 years of experience.

•Experience in the design of buildings and infrastructure structures

•PEng/PE/SE license desirable

Qualities:

•Good communication skills essential for team-based working

•Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment

•Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges

•Project coordination and management experience is a plus

•High level of proficiency in Structural analyses and modeling is a definite plus
