We are currently seeking an experienced Senior CAD Manager to coordinate our CAD efforts for infrastructure projects in New York. The hired candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of Engineers and assist with various aspects including but not limited to:

Supervising the development of standard drawing details for each discipline.

Monitoring and evaluating and supervising the performance of drafters in the office.

Using Microstation and or Revit software to produce 2D and 3D drawings and documentation according to standards for infrastructure projects.

Coordinate work directly with engineers.

Work under minimal supervision.

Take responsibility for definable parts of a project.

Take responsibility for own work produced to a high standard.

Have good visual, 3D and design aesthetic skills.

Requirements:

Qualified professionals will have a minimum 6 - 10 years of experience with prior work done on infrastructure projects.

Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline advantageous.

Experienced and proficient with use of MicroStation and Revit.

Ability to set up and administer Project wise or similar collaboration tools a plus.

Will be required to set up, administer and champion various Arup CAD programs.

Must possess sound knowledge of engineering principals, and the relationship between the various Infrastructure and Building Engineering disciplines.

Must possess the ability to work well in a team environment.

Strong communication and planning skills are a must; including use of Office tools (Word, Excel, and Power Point).

Prior supervisory experience desirable.

Must demonstrate ability to see project through to completion.
