The Arup Energy Group focuses on identifying and supporting the development of solutions that reduce our clients’ energy costs and risks through intelligent, financially viable, and environmentally sustainable projects by means of retro-commissioning and energy conservation measure assessments. Our energy clients include utilities, state energy agencies, local governments, major pharmaceutical companies, large college campuses, hospitals, office buildings, and industrial facilities.<br/><br/>This position requires a broad knowledge of energy consuming systems, especially within existing facilities (HVAC, lighting, process loads, etc.), energy management systems, and various distributed energy technologies. Understanding and experience with project permitting, costing, and construction is preferred. We are seeking someone who is willing to see projects through to completion while excelling at customer relations. Most weeks will involve two to three days of local travel to customer sites with some travel to other regions of California.
