<title><![CDATA[CAD Intern - (San Francisco, California)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[We are currently looking for a CAD Intern to work primarily on mechanical/HVAC projects.<br/><br/>Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:<br/><br/>• Use Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP to create complex 3D building geometries.<br/><br/>• Use AutoCAD for 2D drawing creation.<br/><br/>• Work from Engineer’s markups and sketches under minimum supervision.<br/><br/>• Create and own the HVAC layout for projects in 3D.<br/><br/>• Responsible for supervision and delegation of work to other drafters on team.<br/><br/>• Use Navisworks to coordinate HVAC model with team members from other trades.<br/><br/>• Take responsibility for own work produced to a high standard.<br/><br/>• Ensure outputs meet the required standards and meet agreed deadlines.<br/><br/>Requirements:<br/><br/>• Working towards an Associate Degree in CAD technology, CAD drafting, solids modeling or related field<br/><br/>• Internship experience with a design firm<br/><br/>• Experience in the production of HVAC drawings.<br/><br/>• Proficient with either Revit MEP or AutoCAD MEP (both are desirable).<br/><br/>• Proficient with Auto CAD<br/><br/>• Experience in 3D design.<br/><br/>Ability and willingness to learn new programs as required by individual projects.<br/><br/>Qualities:<br/><br/>• Enthusiasm and willing to learn are key attributes to be demonstrated.<br/><br/>• Good communication skills are essential for team-based working.<br/><br/>• Strong command of oral and written English.<br/><br/>• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.<br/><br/>• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.<br/><br/>• Able to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines]]></description>

Our team of seven engineers is working on very exciting projects including the replacement of 3 miles of highway approaches to the Golden Gate Bridge, an underground extension within Downtown San Francisco of the existing commuter rail line, and the replacement of the Transbay Terminal with a new 1m sq ft Transit Center.
