We currently have a need for a Senior Blast Engineer.
Responsibilities:

Undertake, deliver, and manage blast engineering (structural and façade) for buildings and/or infrastructure projects
·
Collaborate with others within the firm on engineering projects, including structural engineering, earthquake engineering and risk related topics
·
Client development and general business development efforts
Job Requirements:
·
Minimum of a 4-year degree in engineering. An MS or PhD in engineering or science is desirable
·
Structural Engineer (SE) or Professional Engineer (PE) qualification or equivalent
The following skills and experiences (or some combination thereof) are desirable:
Technical:
·
Blast engineering (structural)
·
Blast engineering (façade)
·
Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
·
Performance-based engineering
·
Non-linear and dynamic analysis
·
Risk assessment (e.g. TVRA,)
Management:
·
Strong project management skills required
·
7+ years of progressive experience in practice and/or research
